Twelve people will have a much happier Christmas this year thanks to your generous donations at the Annandale Christmas Tour! Thank You Lethbridge!… and Thank You Garfield and Diane for opening your home to the hordes! Oh What Fun it was though! Merry Christmas to all!

Kate Connolly (Event Committee Chair) and Joe Grysczuk (LRNA President) happily hold up a cheque for $379.85 for the Lethbridge Food Bank. This cheque has been delivered to the food bank – along with 6 bags of non-perishable food! Thanks to the amazing generosity and Christmas spirit of the BLAND family who opened their gorgeous historic home to all comers on both December 2 and 3rd – the families in need in the YWCA “Stockings of Hope” program will enjoy a very Happy Christmas this year!  The Annandale ‘Christmas House’ Tours on both evenings were a great success, loads of fun and all was Merry and Bright, thanks to the generosity of the hundreds of visitors to the Annadale ‘Christmas’ House this last weekend! Thanks also to the volunteers who helped with this great event.

Message from the LRNA Events Chair, Kate Connolly:

Great job on Friday night! Many thanks to all helpers at Bright Lights Festival – including Peter Imhof and his two children, Bill Ginther and of course the efforts of all the LRNA Board members (and their families too)! It was a lot of hard work and a pretty frantic three hours of serving. We did a roaring trade in both hot chocolate (1,000 free cups served!) and smokies (550 sold!). Thanks Kenny for the use of your BBQ and Jon Kerber for the use of the much needed urns for the hot chocolate!

Bright Lights Festival – November 18, 2016 at Galt Gardens 6:30 to 9:00 pm

London Road Neighbourhood Association will be grilling up delicious smokies for sale at the 16th Annual BRIGHT LIGHTS FESTIVAL this Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Galt Gardens. All proceeds from the sale of these smokies will be given to the Lethbridge Food Bank. FREE HOT CHOCOLATE will also be served!

Come and visit Santa, Eat, Drink and Be Merry! Be dazzled by the lights, entertained by the free Christmas movies, go for a hayride and support our local participating businesses and get a start on your Holiday Shopping!

The fun starts at 6:30 pm. It will be a Holly Jolly time! See you there!
