The LRPS reported the following today:
On July 16, 2010 at approximately 8:22 p.m. police responded to a report of an assault at an apartment complex along the 800 block of 4 Street South. An injured 56-year-old man was located outside one of the units and transported to hospital for treatment of head injuries. During a canvass of the building it was reported to police that the victim had been involved in a physical altercation with a group of males. Investigation in the matter is ongoing.
